Our Multi-Step Cleaning Method
First of all, we test your carpet, upholstery, curtains or hard floor to find out what it is made of. Next, we vacuum using a commercial machine, which can remove up to 80% of the dry soil from your carpet (this is particulate soil that scratches, cuts and generally shortens the life of your investment). Then we will pre-spray with the correct cleaning solution and agitate, paying special attention to traffic lanes and worn areas. We allow the cleaning solution time to work. The dirt will literally be released from the fibers and stick to the cleaning solution. Now it’s time to extract. This is when we remove the rest of the allergens, pollutants and contaminants. Our chosen method uses less moisture than other systems, thereby removing the opportunity for mold growth and long drying times. Next, we re-set the pile, apply any protectors requested and replace the furniture on top of coasters to prevent rust or dye marks. Occasionally, if the weather is very damp, we choose to power dry, so you can enjoy your healthy home sooner. Upholstery & Leather CleaningTwo, upholstery and leather. The cleaning industry calls these ‘delicates’ as they are easily damaged. Many cleaning companies use machinery and chemistry designed for carpets, which may cause damage. At Greener Cleaning we have invested in machinery specifically designed for fabric; we even have one for cleaning leather. These don’t soak the backings or over scrub the delicate fabrics.

Three, hard floors. Many Highland householders have invested in beautiful hard floor coverings and floor tiles. In order to keep these looking good they must also be maintained. We use the same products that we provide for our commercial clients, which means that the finish will look great and last longer!
